Refreshments
will be served on arrival and attendees will have 30 minutes to study the
reports and consider any questions they may have.
The formal
part of the Assembly will start at 8.00 pm with an address by the Chairman,
followed by the approval of the minutes from the 2008 Assembly and the adoption
of this year’s reports.
There will be
a short address from each of the following organisations; Thames Valley Police,
Chinnor Youth Football Club, and Chinnor Community Responders.
The Clerk will
then read out any correspondence relevant to the Assembly.
The meeting
will then be open for questions from the public.
The Parish
Council has now received a copy of the latest proposals from
Because of the
very short time permitted by South Oxfordshire District Council for residents’
comments to be submitted to them, the Parish Council will be setting out a
display of the proposals prior to the Annual Assembly, at the Village Centre,
on Monday 27th April.
The display
will be open to the public from 5pm until 7.15 pm.
In the
meantime, the Council will be studying the proposals and formulating its
response.
The plans are
available at the Parish Office, but because of the sheer volume of documents,
we would ask anyone who wishes to study them to telephone the office on 353267
and make an appointment.
The plans can
also be viewed on line at: planning.east@southoxon.gov.uk
We also intend
to have the proposals on display at the Reading Room in the High Street
on Saturday May 16th from 10am until 1.00pm. (Comments will be
accepted at SODC immediately following this date, but it is advisable, if
possible to submit by 07.05.09 as stated below)
We would like
to point out that anyone wishing to comment on the development must make their
point in writing or by e-mail to South Oxfordshire District Council no later
than Thursday 7th May.
You must submit your comments on this application, even if
you commented on previous Cement works applications. Previous comments will not
be considered.
